Aeon

This is a really excellent album, worthy of your review.

This music reaches grand music. This is the type of music you would hear in epic fantasy movies, such as Lord of the Rings. The music sets a tone for a whole world which is in imaginations reach, all thanks to the music. The Celestial Aeon Project is amazing. Better than the music that tries to pretend it is majestic, and on a grand scale. These guys are, no pretending involved.

I chose the words "beautiful dream" for my two-word blurb, and I'm not exaggerating. The music in "Aeon" has a dreamlike quality that has me sitting here, in front of a computer, with all sorts of noises around, lost in the kind of fantasy lands I used to dream of as a child. I'm afraid I cannot put it any more eloquently: "Aeon" will capture your senses and transport you.

If I had to compare it to other albums, I'd say Narada's "A Childhood Remembered" comes to mind (which, although a compilation, has a certain definite "sound" to my ears), or Checkfield's sound by way of David Lanz.
