Straight beautiful, this release caught me with the beautiful melodies. guitars played with virtuosity, but still very relaxed and cool. It has a touch of Blue Note, but it's raw at the same time.
Then a synthesizer driven uptempo track lifts you to a night club full of aliens.
What I like about abogix' music generally is its visuality. The music's telling a story and that is hard to achieve as a musician.
Then a moog-like lead takes you to a scene in the rain forest for a slowdown. - At least that's my imagination ;)
I'm giving this album a 10 (best album from abogix - my opininon) because it's original, musical and catchy, cool and uplifting, retro and futuristic at the same time.
Just one suggestion: I'd like to hear some more of the "positive attitude" tracks. Don't know how to describe that sound but I think it's a 10 ;)
