All in all you did a really good job. Although your EP only contains two songs it is much better than many albums here with ten or more songs. The reasons are very simple: On the one hand the singer catches your attention with his expressive voice and on the other hand the simple melody of both songs forces you to move yourself matching to the bar.

And at least I have to admit, that I have a little weakness for soft rock. ;)
Gimme more of that stuff! ^^
