Everybody Wants To Have A Good Life

Szczerze polecam ten album, na mojej playliscie figuruje juz od kilku tygodni i podoba mi sie coraz bardziej, szczegolnie piosenki: "By my side" i "Everybody wants to have a good life", pozostale sa tez niezle.

Du rock de bonne facture, de bonnes guitares, de bonnes voix. Que du bon ! Deux pistes à creuser, pour moi, pour passer au niveau supérieur : se lâcher, sortir un peu plus des sentiers battus au niveau des mélodies, et jouer plus sur les harmonies guitares et surtout vocales (comme dans "Tied My Hands"), qui s'accordent vraiment pas mal.

Les musiques sont douces, avec une bonne instrumentation rock, les voix sont belles...

Everybody wants to have a good life sounds like something that could have been recorded by a partnership of Pulp and Rialto if they didn´t have enough budget to hire Anne Dudley for the orchestral arrangements. Truly, I don´t know why did I get that feeling, but it definitely reminded me of those great bands of the nineties, yet thinking that the mellow tone would play superb (and I mean VERY SUPERB) with a slight orchestral arrangement. It also reminded me a bit of the swedish band The Soundtrack of Our Lives, and since those three groups are among my favourites, I suppose it makes this review very positive. Good stuff! I wait for more to come...
