Beyond Far Mountains, mellow, slow and plaintive. A drumbeat joins the reverberations. Then it breaks into a guitar led sound and rhythm structure. Not spectacular as such, but easy to listen to. Far away, beyond those mountains what is going on? Does it matter to the artist, or is it just my intepretation.
The second track, Walking Wounded, reiterates my apparent understanding. They return from the other side of those craggy tops of colliding landmass. Finally, a piano led, fairly standard ambient soundtrack sounds, speaks to me of the movement of refugees, on The Strange Journey from a country that has disowned them perhaps.
