Place of Illumination, beautiful soundscaping. And, it gets better with Planet of the Strangers, seems very apt. People are strange, when you're a stranger, to quote an eminent musician who knew how to open doors. Mothership is wonderfully apt and well positioned to come in to land between your ear tubes as they flicker with the light of musical entertainment and landing coordinates. Distorted World is exactly that. Our place of abode distorted by all the various interpretations and misplaced ontological bubbles of existence. Absolutely amazing track. Trip H tripped by very easily, nicely done. Then we finish up with City of the Damned, transported to another eminently wonderful virtual space according to our inherent subjectivities and assimilation of such astounding creativity and expression. I live in such a place, wherever I would be, I would still be living in such a place. It's endemic, the world is full of the damned, one way or another, it's curtains for us. Brilliant album.
