NanowaR--- Are (nano)midgets the better metallworkers?

(WARNING: Native German trying an English text... go on on your own risk dear English teachers..)

A day of public holiday .. and you missed to quite in advance all the noisy machines right out of hell that usually kills a perfect sleepy night during the week .... so you get an early bird in a real bad temper. add the local folk music company tradition on the 1. May to blow there members out of bed at 6:00 .. and you might imagine the start position of my first contact to NannowaR cd cover...

What the hell... is that? All but not a typically metal cover .. this really looks like a very good portion of humor .. just of that kind a might need on a morning like that!

Hold on man.. metal + humor.. but too late.. the torrent already made it and the intro chorus starts .. and brings in the first good mood. the cover seems to tell the truth.. this will not be the normal metal album ..

TRICYCLES OF STEEL brings you right back in the world of true metal music ( if you don't care about the text :-) ) just the kind of music that kicks your feed and ace . nice riffs and solid rhythm line. good old metal stuff.

Just holding this traditional line TRUE METALL OF THE WORLD some slower and not too far away from.. xxxwar.. but find it out by you own... :-)

So a nice but nothing real special album of solid band?

Nothing on this collection is as it seems.. BURGER gives you a nice Intro ( you really need it for calm translation) into KING a total mix of different styles combines heavy guitar play with nice rhythm line, solid vocals .. again impossible to quit down the tipping feed for me. only the outtake seems to bee a little bit to rough and long.

INTRODUCING THE POWER POTENTIA MAGNI GLADI VOBIS a title saying all and gives you an extra big smile on your face .. and is needed to open your ears for the

POWER OF THE POWER OF THE POWER OF THE GREAT SWORD... ( Humor + metal.. yes..it works great for me!)

Some more of this mixture? Here we are: METAL -LA-LA-LA ( keep an ear on the text..) .. one of these songs, you might need a crowd around you and one more beer to start the party..


TRIUMPHANT MARCH OF THE NANO-WARRIOR picks up this party line.. but with a real nice turn over showing some more skills of the band.

After all.. this NanowaRs guys did an excellent job! I have had more than one big smile on the face listing to this compilation of humor , metal and solid work giving you a good mood back. This is album might not be a milestone in history of rock .. but it is one of those that can turn a bad day into a good day and therefor one of my personal tips.

Ne geile Platte. Das ist Parodie pur und sollte bekannter werden.

Tjoa was soll der geneigte Lauscher denken.
Oder eher, was soll er erwarten?

Nun keine Ahnung. Was er bekommt ist ein Sack voll guter Laune, Spaß und- man glaubt es kaum bei solch nach Klassik klingenden Liedertiteln- es rumpelt ganz bös aus den Boxen.

Dies Album ist gespickt mit Seitenhieben an die eine oder andere Laute Band, ohne wie (nur) eine Kopie zu wirken.
Muß man nicht hören, sollte man aber ^^

Mit Other Bands Play, Nanowar Gay! hat NanowaR ein super Album abgeliefert. Auf lustige und gekonnte Art wird zum Beispiel die "ultra trve" Metalband Manowar auf die Schippe genommen.

Aber auch sonst ist das Album nett anzuhören.
Wirklich empfehlenswert!
