"In the Dark" - I have never heard anything quite like that before - pure ambient percussion drawn out so in the intro before the rest of the instruments slide in, glide in like ethereal beings at a solemn dance . . . that was so good! I was just listening for albums to review later, but that one jumped out at me and demanded an instant response . . . so here it is and I am listening to the rest of the album. Not bad at all! "Storm" has some very nice piano work. I enjoyed "Liquidice" as it had some ear-popping, theatrical sounds and I could see it as a dance tune also. "Teck,Teck" was an outstanding, minimalistic, dance type tune.
I enjoyed all these tracks, and I think what stood out to me was the quality of the sound . . . lots of reverberations; not overburdened with layers; a bare minimum of melody; pure and unique values to paint the emotions required by the artist's desires.
