This Broken Machine is Milan based band. The precarious balance between interests, orientations and personalities feeds a constant evolution with a sound somewhere set between Tools, Mastodon, Deftones, Isis… sharp-edged guitars, powerful bass, interlaced shouted and melodic voices, loaded and elaborated drums. Meaningful ideas, the absence of limits in composing music, letting the creativity loose: this is how the band outline it’s designed.

 

Its debut work, Songs About Chaos (EP - 30 min.) embodies these topics, shaped in a 7-songs concept that received pleasing reviews and approvals. The follow-up, The Inhuman Use of Human Beings (CD - 56 min.), the band’s first LP, completely self- produced and distributed wordwide in both digital and mailorder format by CD Baby, is out on May 12, 2012.
