Since 2002 Aavepyörä has been a single project of Kim Åke, altough in the past there has been several more people involved.
In the "good old days" the style of music was at times highly experimental, but now with the sole involvement of Kim it can be said that it is mostly influenced by the early goa sound and 80s lofi SID sounds.
Aavepyörä has been performing with great success in countries as diverse as Israel, Russia, Ukraine and Belgium.
The music has been described as highly positive, sincere and heartfelt.
Dedicated to free culture and music distribution from the beginning, our music has been always available for free download, altough small runs of real discs have been also always made for true fans and collectors.
In short: the music is seriously KICK ASS, and listening to it will make you feel GOOD ! ;)
