Room 201 is a french electro-hip hop band, created by the two musicians Cedos and Degoud. The name of the band was inspired by the appartment that they share together as roommates in Tokyo.
Cedos played electronic music since 2002 with many groups in Italy, where he lived for many years, and in France, such as « Turin Posse » and « Doctor Baobab Experience » and performed alone under the nickname of  DJ Showbang.
Degoud is fond of Hip Hop music since ever and started to make Hip Hop bases and scrach to play along with his friend DJ Dayoud.
They met in Paris in the manga design school where they both study, and started to play music together for fun. During a trip in France, Hiro A-Key went to one of their concert and liked the sound, so he asked the two to play along again and to create a unique liveset for an unique performance in Tokyo.
As a crossover between « French Touch » electro inspired by Daft Punk and Justice, and Hip Hop beats under the influence of Nujabes and Hocus Pocus, Room 201 sound is new and refreshing, performed only with hardware machines such as the Korg EMX-1 and the Roland MC 505.
