Formed in 2003 by brothers George and Jak Noble.
The band originally wrote songs of a random nature, such as “Haunted Sandwich ” and “I Eat Glue”.
They recorded in their living room using two sticks and the arm of a sofa as a drum kit.

The band originally released a 16-track album entitled “Th Half-Time Show”, which became the basis of the album “Haunted Sandwich”, that was recorded 3 times before the band was satisfied.

Lentil’s second album came in the form of the 11-track “Answers”, released christmas 2007. This album has a more serious feel to it, while keeping the pop-punk randomness that the hardcore fans enjoy. “Answers” also shows that the band have grown up dramatically over the last few years. Their music as well as their lyrics, performance and production have all increased substancially since the release of “Haunted Sandwich” in 2005.

In the summer of 2008, guitarist Jak Noble re-recorded the entire of “Haunted Sandwich” but the vocals were not recorded until the winter and the album was finished on the 23rd of December. The album boasts far better sound quality than “Answers”, as well as more impressive solos and vocal harmonies, while still keeping true to the original album. It was renamed “Haunted Sandwich: Re-Remastered” and released on Jak’s independent label “Murder on the Dancefloor Records”.

The band have expressed interest in redoing “Answers” as well. They have said that their 3rd album is still in ‘early days’.
