Downlouders is not a band: it's a musical experiment whose purpose is to bring musicians coming from different genres and experiences to produce a record in a short period of time, living togheter in a common space for that period. The first episode of this forthcoming saga is "Haustillio", the first album by Downlouders.
It was created in summer 2009 after a 3 days improvisation session that took place in a secluded farmhouse in Tuscany, Italy.
Haustillio was concepted, composed, played, recorded and mixed by a 5 elements combo in 8 days with drums, bass guitar, 2 electric guitars, fender rhodes electric piano, syntesizer and voices.
It was recorded on a digital portable multitrack, and played live. Downlouders are published by indipendent label Terra Desolata.

2010
The band continues its journey into the "house stealing" mood of creating music and has composed and recorded a second album - called "ASIMOV" - in St. Julien-sur-Sarthe, South Normandy (France) between 1 and 11 august 2010.

While mixing and producing this new effort, during a night of improvisation in October they have also recorded an instrumental EP in La Sauna Recording Studio, called "The Kitchen Session", now available here on Jamendo.
