LAUFER is an electro-project of a german student who loves music with melodic and electronic elements.

Growing up in the 90s when eurodance used to be heavy rotated on tv and radio, he is certainly influenced by heavy drumms and synthesizer-sounds. At the same time also playing classic piano for a many years he discovered his passion for harmonic and melodic sounds, which is present in nearly all productions.

In 2004 LAUFER started making beats under the name of J-CUT with the rappers of EASTBOUND CLIKK, cutting, sampling and composing his way through the jungle of hiphop. Since 2007 he began to listen to drummnbass and other electro-music. In consquence he started experimenting and producing in that direction. 2009 Dubstep, as a combination of different elements from HipHop, Reggae-Dub and DnB, became important and influenced latest productions.

LAUFER ist das Elektroprojekt eines Hallensers, der sich Synthi-Sounds & elektrischen Oszillatoren-Schwingungen verschrieben hat.

Als 90er-Kind ist auch er unter die Räder der Trash und Eurodance-Kultur geraten,lernte in selber Zeit aber auch das Klavier und seinen Hang zur Melodie und Harmonik kennen, der sich in vielen seiner Tracks wiederspiegelt.

2004 holte er sich sein erstes Musikprogramm und bastelte fortan unter den Namen J-CUT Beats für die hallesche Rap-Combo EASTBOUND CLIKK. Bis heute schneidet, sampelt und komponiert er sich seinen Weg durch den HipHop-Dschungel. Seit 2007, inspiriert durch endlos scheinende Elektro und DnB-Partys in Halle, produziert er sich auch durch die Welt der Synthies und Drumms. Ebenfalls Dubstep zu programmieren, als aus HipHop, ReggeaDub und DnB entstandener Hybrid, war seit 2009 logische Konsequenz.
