Gli Introversia nascono nel 2005 a Catania e crescono nel territorio indie siciliano suonando come opening act dei Meganoidi, Playtone, Linea 77, Marta Sui Tubi, Tre Allegri Ragazzi Morti e Pan Del Diavolo in svariati festival. La loro demo ottiene buone recensioni e passaggi in radio italiane e spagnole. Nel 2007 vengono inoltre selezionati da Mario Riso per partecipare a “Sala Prove” su Rock TV. A Gennaio 2010 escono con il primo album, "Vuoto Indispensabile", edito da Imago Sound e distribuito con licenze Creative Commons.

Introversia was born in Catania in 2005 and grew up in the Sicilian indie territory playing as opening act for the Meganoidi, Playtone, Linea 77, Marta sui Tubi, Tre Allegri Ragazzi Morti and Pan del Diavolo in various festivals. Songs of their demo obtains radio hostings and good reviews in Italy and Spain. In 2007 the group was selected by Mario Riso to partecipate in “Sala Prove” on Rock TV. On January 2010 they publish their first album, "Vuoto Indispensabile" (label: Imago Sound, Creative Commons licensed).

Il loro sound, pure caratterizzato da una marcata connotazione melodica, presenta uno stile rock molto ben definito e ben calibrato in termini di potenza tra le architetture sonore della chitarra, l’esuberanza del basso, l’esplosione precisa della batteria e la rabbia “di velluto” del cantante. Tantissime le influenze musicali, per di più legate al rock e ad ogni suo derivato, dagli anni ‘70 ai giorni nostri.

 

 The band’s sound, while characterized by strong melodic connotations, is a well-defined rock whose impact is carefully calibrated between the structured sounds of the guitar, the exhuberance of the bass, the precise explosiveness of the drums and the ‘velvet’ anger of the singer. Innumerable musical influences, but mostly rock and all its derivatives from the ‘70s to the present day.
