Wissenswertes
After a year of preparation, in which no detail was left to chance, Lumine Criptica released its first
album “Fading Into Darkness.”
In this debut, the band shows the wide range in which it can move, feeling comfortable both in brutal riffs full of blast beats, and acoustic sections where Sabrina Filipcic’s voice stands out above the rest of the instruments. And it is these contrasts that make listening to “Fading Into Darkness” an experience from which all can be expected.
The amount and combination of elements is what best defines LUMINE CRIPTICA's style:
Sabrina’s melodic voice, with some lyrical nuances, supported by Cristian Trefny’s growls create vocal lines and choruses quickly recognizables. The aggressive guitars along with the power and precision of the bass and drums do not limit the compositions, in which the melodies are always the main thread. Same the keyboards gain prominence in certain passages, guiding the fury of the rhythmic base.
This transforms LUMINE CRIPTICA in a band without compositional limits: We can find epic orchestral passages in the introduction to You Will Never Rest (which acts also as an introduction to the album), a chorus that is sung on first listen in The Trace of my Beloved and tracks like The Cold Outside, where we find the reinterpretation of what would be a “Metal Ballad”.
Cradle of Filth, Dark Tranquillity, Nightwish, and even Lamb of God fans, will find in “Fading Into Darkness” a subtle combination of the most representative ingredients of each band. And best of all, the Digital Edition it’s available for free download, with exclusive artwork and photo galleries from their official website (www. luminecriptica.com) or MySpace (www.myspace.com/luminecriptica).
BIOGRAPHY
It was during the last months of 2008 when LUMINE CRIPTICA arise from the entrails of darkness.
His goal was clear: to combine the extreme facet of his influences with elaborate vocal and
instrumental arrangements, without losing the concept of melody as main thread of the songs.
Listening to their music we can found references to various Metal sub genres, from Melodic Death
Metal to Black Metal. The combination of the singer’s melodic vocals with some opera nuances,
supported by the contrapuntal choruses and guttural voices, end up creating a unique style.
Achieving all goals that were raised independently, they just released their debut album “Fading
Into Darkness.” The Digital Edition is available for free download (with exclusive artwork and
photo galleries) and the physical release is available at their shows or by special order.
Currently the band is presenting his first album and looking for a label to be responsible for editing outside of Argentina.
