Spawned in Brockville, Ontario, POA (Euan Reavie) grew up addicted to the house music that evolved through the late 1980s. In the 1990s he balanced graduate school with a DJing hobby, and eventually started to produce. With the exception of homemade samples, POA’s music is strictly softsynth-based, and comes out as a bizarre mix of electronic tracks, ranging from mainstream trance to dark, bizarre soundscapes. He now resides deep in northern Minnesota where he can occasionally focus on making music, and freezing his arse off.
