Bureau of Broken Sounds is a one man music project, founded as an outlet for the darker vibes. Chaired by Simo Sainio - a self-learned music enthusiast - the Bureau's mission is to explore the depths of trip-hop, darkwave and synthpop. This is done in the spirit of appreciation towards the giants who lead the way, most importantly Depeche Mode, The Cure, Massive Attack and Joy Division.
All recording and mixing is done with Reason. Most sounds originate from that software as well, with the addition of a Kurzweil PC3X synth and an AKG P220 mic for vocals and... other things.
