Barron Beshoar began as a rock musician in Denver, Colorado.  In the early 1980s Beshoar was involved with a series of all original New Wave bands for which he was songwriter, arranger, guitarist, and vocalist.  These groups included Private Sector, Vatican West, Animation, Anima Station, and Ped Xing.

Near the end of that decade Beshoar retired from the music scene, moved to a Colorado mountain town, and devoted himself to composition and home recording with an arsenal of midi gear and electric guitars.  During this period his primary influences were Tangerine Dream, Steve Roach, and Patrick O'Hearn.

In 2002 Beshoar returned to live performance as leader, solo guitarist, and vocalist of the Hot Club of Boulder, a gypsy jazz ensemble inspired by Django Reinhardt.  The Hot Club is currently active on the Colorado Front Range.

Mr. Beshoar currently plays a Selmer style guitar, archtop jazz guitars, mandolin, and Greek bouzouki.  In the summertime he amuses himself and his dogs by playing clawhammer banjo, outside where his wife can't hear him.
