In the spring 2011 Aliaksandr Tsurko (Martovsky) suggested to Victor Kamenetzki to add an academic direction to the label of intelligent electronic music Foundamental Network. Together with the Association of the Young Belarusian Composers, which is presented by its President Kanstantsin Yaskou and Vice-president Maxim Kruhly it was decided to create something more general. The main aims were defined: to develop the academic art of music in Belarus and to represent it worthily at the global level. By this way the community of enthusiasts was created. Its activists are composers: Aliaksandr Tsurko, Kanstantsin Yaskou, Maxim Kruhly, Volha Padhajskaya; and an architect Ivan Krautsou.

Society for the Development of New Music (SDNM) is a group of enthusiasts, which engages in the development, promotion and research of the contemporary classical music.

SDNM releases albums of contemporary composers from Belarus and not only, creates free software for musicians, contributes publications of scientific works, organizes premieres, concerts and festivals, promotes Belarusian academic musical art, cultivates an educational activity. Its makes everything, what is included in the phenomenon "development of new music".
SDNM is an non-profit and non-governmental organization. We are make it for the future and for the development of a national Belarusian culture.
