SimonB was active from 1988 to about 1992 recording solo using a Atari ST-based MIDI set up.

Listening to the music now I guess what is most different about it is that more emphasis is placed on actual tunes than most other electronica music. Often a strong solo or lead is played exploring a sound to its full.

I'm amazed how together this all sounds now after all these years spent on a DAT tape gathering dust.

I have not applied any processing at all to the music. If you want to "master" it, then be my guest! I found that any attempt to normalise, EQ, multi-band compress, sample rate concert it made it sound better.....but it had lost it's magic! Obviously I can't do much about any format conversion that happens via this web site, but I've kept it pure as far as I can from my side :-)
