Gnosis is my one-man shoegaze band. I use my home computer to record, with nothing more than a Digitech Death Metal distortion pedal, FL Studio, Audacity, and a couple of good acoustic drum soundfonts. Oh, and my guitar (a BC Rich 'Dagger'). Most of my material is improvised, or the product of recording whatever I play, and keeping it if it fit with the track. The progressions are the only thing I really 'write'. Usually I don't remember what I played, but it doesn't matter much as I never plan on trying to recreate any of my music, or play it live.
