When Sungod Abscondo recorded as an acoustic rock duo in 2007, songs from their debut album were played on independent radio stations across America (including KAOS, KJHK, WXOU, WPKN, and KCWR). Now that the two Americans have improved the band's line-up by adding a very talented bassist and drummer in the summer of 2009, this Prešov band is attracting local attention with their dramatic live shows.
Since the release of Imperfect People in 2007, Abscondo has also released two well-received solo albums, Midnight Snow and Stages, which are also available on Jamendo. In 2009, Sungod Abscondo released the stripped-down, acoustic album Inside Open Wide
