Dookiejuice presents COCOARED/THE RUFKUTS release date 09.2009. Bronx native still a b-boy Gene Roberson aka GenieQ. is the founder of dookiejuice (a stem from porcocoabutta ent.) a family of spoken-word artists mcees and songwriters. A few years back a young mc in the bronx then went to Cheyney University to study communication arts, he found himself turning his high school ryhmes in to songs. Later on he was blessed to host ButtaMilk Worldwide a mark in philadelphia spokenword/soul history which featured spoken-word artists and cutting edge soul grooves mixed live by QoolDjMarv. Gene went on to produce poets like-bro.khaliq, Bill Holmes, WRITAS BLOC, vocalists Kia Williams, kayboogie and Jogoldie(check her out myspace/jogoldie) in the Philadelphia and tristate area he was a featured vocalist on mc SLEEP-E 2004 album “The Triple Threat” and featured vocalist and producer on ROBWRITESProduction/SpokenWord Project 2005. Currently co-writer and co-producer for Jogoldies upcoming CD-HER TRUTH and working on the COCOARED RUFKUTS CD.
