Une bonne surprise cette piste parfois mélancolique, parfois enjouée, dansante, cinématographique, populaire, en tout cas toujours surprenante, séduisante, attachante. Merci un bien bon morceau, et quel piano !

On that day, of which I can't clearly remember the date and without an apparent or logical reason to clarify momentarily my mind, I woke up quite early. I glanced at the alarm clock and despite of being only six in the morning and being relatively cold, a feeling of uneasiness invaded me so intensely, that I got up at a glance and took a hot shower. Outside, the still half dark landscape aspect of a gray and dry appearance, reflected almost in a material way, the cold that was surely felt, even to the naked eye. I headed for the kitchen, prepared a toast with some jelly and a coffee... and soon enough, I found myself walking through the downtown streets, without, an apparent direction or destiny. It was Christmas time and besides the attraction from the festive arrangements that could be seen all over, suddenly I took conscience that there was this sweet melody filling the air, with the incidence of a gentle piano, in a way that, apparently, no other sounds were produced, by all the bustle of people walking and shopping around. I kept walking and even if with no specific idea of where I was going, the increasing rhythm and volume of the music, ended up making me realize, that in fact, there was an intention and a direction... so, I followed the crescent volume of sounds, which evolved to some more complex instrumental arrangements, with an orchestral configuration and I saw myself finally standing before a window display of an art shop, where some paintings and sculptures, coexisted in a strange and mysterious harmony of colors and shapes. Standing in the middle, there was this representative miniature sculpture of human figure with a realistic mask being hold by one of the hands and more particularly, by the ring finger, introduced in one of the holes for the eyes. The attraction for that detail was so intense and immediate, that suddenly and in a perspective from the periphery to the center, everything became diffuse, initially white, then gray... while at the same time the figure of the mask begun to turn, by the movement of the hand... and in a split of a moment, as the music evolved in a crescendo of intensity, it came towards me, in the direction of my face, and by the instrumental twist of the music finale, it all turned momentarily black... and I really woke up, this time. I glanced at the alarm clock and despite of being only six in the morning and being relatively cold, a feeling of uneasiness invaded me so intensely that I got up at a glance and took a hot shower. I searched for a while and not long after, I stood before the first page which displayed the last releases and... there it was... a cover of an album by Van Syla, showing the detail from a sculpture, through the figure of a realistic mask being hold by one of the hands and more particularly, by the ring finger, introduced in one of the holes for the eyes... and I couldn't help myself... so, I pressed the play button...

Alternance des tempos, la légerté enjouée d'une joie sereine, une fantaisie agréable avec des sonorités qui se taquinent et qui au final, toutes ensemble s'emportent, s'élèvent pour un final qui, pour moi, fait mouche. J'aime.
