While "Evershade" was already a step back compared to "Angelic Asylum", this one just sounds like "another metal album". Still ok, but nothing outstanding anymore. The new singer cannot compete with Alexandra and the songs would need more elaboration in detail, more power and passion. For me the only convincing song on this album is "The last 24 hours", it has some suprprising and nice changes in it and mixes different music styles elegantly.

Aw man, just get a good head bob going and it starts back over! Ack! MORE!!! I know this for sure, either Érezd Át (mélyen a magányt) or Reneszánsz is going to show up in my next Overdrive 192 show! They are too good not to be put on the air...

Symphonic-Gothic-Rock with a Touch of the Operatic-It's ALL GOOD :D

'Renaissance', is a four track, Symphonic-Gothic Rock album. People who stereotype Music Genres are doing themselves as well as the Music a disservice. I have frequently encountered a certain "Mindset" among some Listeners that Symphonic/Classical is All Boring or that All Rock is "Loud Noise". Neither position is Accurate and this Album confirms it Emphatically! Musically, Symphonic Strings(Synth replicated) vie with Revved up and Rumbling Electric Guitar with a Thunderous Rock Beat. Top it off with a Opera style Aria from the Female Lead, Choral from the Backups and a Gravel Voiced Male who literally Growls the Lyrics and all the Elements are Present for a First Class Symphonic Rock Experience. Track #1. 'Kell Meg', kicks off the Collection with Lyrical Power. Violins intro the Work with a "Fanfare" of Strings that is Joined by Electric Bass as Harmony with Melodious Sustained Notes and Percussion. The Best is Yet to Come as Electric Guitar and a Heavenly Vocal Engage; in a word--Magic! Check out the remainder of the Album for more of the same Gothic Greatness! ;D

Nothing much to say besides that it's yet another awesome album. The voice is perfectly clear, the music is original and melodic while keeping a strong metal/gothic style, this audacious mix still tastes really good. Anyways it's really an impressive work as always, the only bad thing is that it's quite a short album, we want moar! Thanks a lot for freely sharing it :).
