Disciple - "Master... what is reality?" Master - "It's everything that you are." Disciple - "Everything that I am?" Master - "Yes... it's the perception you have, while a living being, of all the things that surround you." Disciple - "And fantasy?" Master - "Fantasy... is everything that you want it to be." Disciple - "Everything?" Master - "Yes... it's the capacity that you have, of visualizing beyond the perception of all the things that surround you." Disciple - "And is there some kind of connection in between those two universes?" Master - "You."

The Wonder Continues

I may just be speaking from a bias because I've been hooked on Butterfly Tea for almost a year now, and for good reason. Fairytales and Dragons is that perfect blend of a rock adventure and a medieval legend being told through music. What makes an album stand out from just a single track is the ability for the tracks to form a coherent message. Butterfly Tea's use of a musical fantasy theme has always been tied together, but hearing this latest album makes me just want even more. Last summer I was inspired so much by the ancient feel of the music to write a film centered around magic and the music of Butterfly Tea. This album could easily complete the gaps in the soundtrack as I push into production of the project later this year. You'd be doing yourself a disservice not to download this album! As it provides the perfect and distinct sound of a knights journey into unknown lands. You'll be hooked from the first track to the last!

Weird Awesomeness

Yes -- seriously, this is some pretty weird stuff. When I saw the cover of the album, I was intrigued. It looked so colorful and inviting, I wondered if it reflected the music well. So I decided to give the album a listen. I'm glad I did! Right from the get-go, the music proves to be like the album cover -- brilliantly colorful, adventurous ... really great stuff. Excellent soundtrack. I love the Oriental, "pentatonic" angle mixed with the Irish sound. (It's especially evident in The Enchanted Forest.) Thanks for sharing this with us! =]
