quand une vraie musicienne , prends des libertés avec son bagage ! quand elle laisse transparaître des univers plus intimes encore ! quand la création s'éloigne de la technicité musicale sans l'affronter ! Quand la simplicité devient évidence , cachée derrière quand même beaucoup de savoir faire et de goùt ! quand les rythmes ennivrent et la voix charment : c'est nous qui sommes les gagnants .... coup d'éssai ? coup de Maîtresse ( mais n'abandonne pas le piano et la violons pour toujours quand même :-) ) bravo !

Vraiment magnifique... Muy atrapante, dulce, muy original, un buen ``matiz`` para la ya buena mùsica que hace Van Syla. Muestra de su versatibilidad, creatividad artìstica. Exquisitas combinaciones de sonidos, percusiòn, esas flautas, esas excelentes voces ambientales, piano tambièn... Bravo!

Impressionistic and artistic . . . this effervescent . . . this earthy . . . this tribal . . . music drew me in and filled me with vision, scent . . . sound encompassing me with . . . an apprehension from the deepest of human memories . . . we have always been seeking peace and home .. .. long the road, and weary the disinherited . . . burdened beneath the dust of that endless trek that tiresome task of seeking the promised land . . yet in this music . . there is the faintest hope that guides like a star laid on the horizon with a dream of a misty eden, a land of fruit and honey, love and song . . . this music from the heart . . . evoking sorrow and joy . . . amazement . . . and dream time . . a vision quest . . . a realization . .. Excellent! Remarkable . . . The best yet, Van Syla . . .

Musique enjouée, colorée, invitation à la Vie, à la danse, à savourer le bonheur d'être en vie, et d'avancer avec grâce et légèreté dans sa Légende Personnelle, sans aucune contrainte. The musical capacity of Van Syla, as a global conceptual notion, is too much of an evidence. And if that capacity may have been opportunely perceived or foreseen by the overcoming of what may have been then pointed out by some, as base restrictions or even punctual obstacles, now, with this small wonder... and small because it's merely one title... her creativity gains a new landing by the exploitation of new grounds, already pointed out in the previous work, which come out reinforced through an irrefutable global association to quality and therefore, effectively tamed and conquered. This particular theme is effectively very captivating and possesses an intriguing capacity of induction by an association to any notions that we may have, of some tribal activities and rituals associated with dance and spiritualism. Its immediacy, comes from the verisimilitude and credibility of the musical structure and instrumentation, which and despite some experimentalism, no doubt also associated to the search for originality and in that sense audacity, never loses sight of a convenient sense of adequacy, while succeeding to reward us, through an appellative and qualitative final sound production. For the audacity, growing capacity of overcoming, effective musical achievement also in the perspective of experimentation and indisputable overall high level of quality achieved, congratulations... and a final wish... keep being a pilgrim.

Van Syla che non fa più il "vansyla". Non somiglia se non pochissimo, e per brevi incisi, a ciò -pur piacevolissimo- che ci ha abituati a sentire. Ha avuto il grande coraggio di non rassomigliare a se stessa, ha avuto il talento per farlo. Stupendo, consigliabile a chiunque.
