I listened to this little album earlier today and was so impressed, with that first song. . . at the warm tones of the acoustic guitar, embroidered with the wings of sympathetic strings . . I didn't want to end my day without saying a word or two about this lovely jazzy album. These pieces are so expressive, so emotional and rich like melting gold . . like that transitory gold of warm sunshine and comforting breezes . . . you wish you could hang on to that feeling forever . . . "Waltz for Cathy" . . less acoustic than "Looking West," but no less dreamy, . . .. is a loving, mellow piece, full of ambling melodies and a tightly echoing guitar, eloquent and vitally dynamic, punctuated by a reflective percussion. Those first two pieces were sweetly sentimental whereas the last piece, "Halfway to somewhere" gave the listener wings of optimism and a tropical island somewhere out of the range of storms . . . a very nice piece indeed, sunny and bright and as warm as the other two . . Having listened to this album several times . . . I must say that I enjoyed it immensely and I think it shows the fine talent of this musician . .

Je rejoins la critique de Wolfsong mais je rajoute ce petit mot pour exprimer toute ma gratitude pour ce bel album extrêmement agréable à écouter, compétent. Tous les instruments sont superbes guitare souple, piano, basse, violons et batterie. Tout est bon. Bravo !
