This album gathers all my pieces with orchestral versions. Working on musical notation led me to make a better work, think about each instrument, give life to every single note. I used samples of real instruments, thanks to Harmony Assistant and its extension Gold. If it still sounds like "midi" instruments it's due to my lack of experience in this kind of programming. I would be pleased to provide my midi files to every one able to make a better sound. Please contact me. Of course my dream is that this music is played by a real orchestra. I'm conscious that this would require more work but I'm ready to do it in such a case. The album title refers to "barocco" style. One should understand that this is to describe a state of mind rather than to refer to masters such as Bach or Vivaldi

BIENTOT JE VAIS REMPLACER CET ALBUM PAR UN ALBUM AVEC UN SON DE BIEN MEILLEURE QUALITE

Not your modern music, nonetheless this album has stately yet light and elegant sounds throughout all the tracks. The music is elaborately ornamental with the expressive dissonance of Baroque. Some tracks you just melt into such as "Cujus Animam (Stabat Mater part 2)." Others I loved for their percussions such as in "Sonate 1 Prelude part 3." I was impressed with the variability of this type of music. Each track had an enticing beginning whether somber or lively or both at the same time. This unique and lovely music is worth listening to for a variety of qualities and is useful as a background sound for many vendors and venues. By the way, I did download this album.

PMC

Baroque is not a trend anymore... So an album like this one should be twice appreciated. Beautiful music, very well conceived and developed. Hopefully we'll be able to hear a real ensemble performing it some day. Thanks a lot !

Percussion of Varied Voices Pound Out a Perfect Rhythm

'Baroque Mood', is the Parent Album but this is a Review of One of its Selections, 'Sonate #1-Prelude Part 3' which is a Baroque-Contemporary Classical, Instrumental work. The Average Listener may think of Percussion-Only as "Drums" and nothing more when in fact, keyboard instruments such as Piano, Celeste, Harpsichord are in the Percussion Family. Perhaps less surprising, Xylophone, Glockenspiel, Hammer Dulcimer and Marimba are also included. I point this out based on what the Listeners can expect to hear. A Orchestral Drum Cadence does indeed start the piece. The Voice is Higher Pitched than Timpani but the Feeling/Tone is so similar that I call it "Orchestral" because as Baroque as it is--there is a Distinct "Primitive"-Tribal Quality about it. Synthesized Woodwinds provides the Melody briefly then a Metallic Voice that resembles a cross between Marimba and Celeste joins in. In fact no fewer than 4 Equally Dominant Voices-the majority being Percussive can be heard as the track progresses. The Non Percussive Synth Woodwind really truly makes a Sharp Contrast between-Rhythmic Pounding and Flowing Notes but the combination creates a highly Contemporary and Original Composition.
