une cold wave originale hors norme et creative.unike et intense en emotion.pour moi un des meilleurs groupes cold que mes petites oreilles ont ecoute voe le meilleur sans flatterie aucune.juste une ambiance compatible avec mon ame cold et sensible.voix merveilleuse et sans cesse en recherche.musike unike et tres bien joue.a ecouter sans limites.et surtout ce sont des etres tres humains et accessible ce qui est rare dans ce monde ou les musicos se la petent

Stephen jenn andersen s'était déjà illustré ave son album solo intitulé "the final solution", les modules étranges viennent de sortir un titre intitulé "total war" en référence à NON, connu comme un chantre du white power. Il est temps de dire non à ce groupe qui utilise constamment des titres comme "nazis love their children too" et des noms de groupe comme cheree buchenwald et jenn birkenow.C'est trop.ceci est un appel nazi.Dîtes non!

Thanks to Eternal Blue Moon for this recommendation: Cold and dark, dreamy, emotionally down, almost surreal. The music has a nice tempo with a female singer singing softly and slowly and often distant and un-melodic, to herself, but with exceeding charm . . . the vocals float through the the percussion like a gentle breeze through the trees. This music is very entrancing, and it feels as though the instruments are enticing the singer to express her emotions, they seem to wait for her, but she is often almost mute at times and when vocal seems expressionless. I really enjoyed this album, all the songs were equally good and I listened to it several times tonight.

Nice album, should be on 4AD label with this sense of atmospherics and haunting melodies. Could have coped with it being darker but that's probably more a reflection of my own state of mind, than an impartial view of this album. However, it is extremely palatable and good listening. I was transported back several years, thinking about old (eighties) alternative music, that was then so important to me. An English speaking version of Xmal Deutschland. Tasty.

Dies klingt wie das erste Album von Dead Can Dance oder The Cure oder auch Clan of Xymox. Für ein neues Album also eigentlich nicht ganz zeitgemäß. Wenn man sich überlegt, was aus den genannten Bands mal geworden ist, kann den Hörer hier aber noch etwas erwarten. Aber abgesehen vom 80er Sound ist es ein schönes darkwave Album für späte Stunden. Gitarren flirren, Effekt auf Anschlag. Die Stimme weint ihr Lied, ebenfalls Effekt hoch aufgedreht. Dr. Drum spielt seine ewige Spur. Technisch und musikalisch kämpft das Album aber noch mit einigen Schwächen. Wie bei den Vorbildern damals auch. Für mich hat diese Musik einen sehr hohen Nostalgie-Effekt. Denn damals, als die Wurzel meine eigenen musikalischen Entwicklung jenseits des Kindesalters begannen zu wachsen - hörten wir solche Musik. Nostalgie minus Schwächen minus alter Sound = 8 Punkte.
