They think they sound like the Violent Femmes and the Lemonheads. Other people compare them with The Decemberists and the Moldy Peaches. I’d agree with all the above and add the White Stripes and the Fiery Furnaces to the mix. The music has a traditional edge, but deals with modern (yet universal) subjects. Both singers can sing, and it sounds like they would be amazing in a live setting (anywhere from a concert hall to a camp fire). My favourites are "Gold Fever" and "Ballad of a Jailbreak Wedding", although every song is strong.

Wer auf Folk und Indie steht dem sei die von The Wind Whistles Musik wärmstens empfohlen. Knaller sind meiner Meinung nach “Man by Name of Denver” und “Good Friends won’t Rip you Off”. Tolle Stimmen - von beiden super im Duett eingesetzt! Manche Lieder sind allerdings etwas schleppend und klingen zu ähnlich.

Un vrai bon petit album de folk très agréable qui me fait penser à Belle & Sebastian. Rien à dire de plus, ça se laisse écouter, c'est parfait. J'aimerais juste bien les avoir avec moi quand je fais un feu dans mon jardin... Marcus

Un álbum de calidad de estilo folk y pop. Este duo de Vancouver valen realmente la pena ser escucharlos, melodias sencillas con armonías solidas, sin demasiadas bases sintetizadas a excepción de algunos temas. Suenan realmente bien. Cálidos y cercanos, con letras que cuentan historias.

Genial simples Album, das immer wieder Spaß macht gehört zu werden. Sehr empfehlenswert!!! :-)

These are really interesting and well written songs. Really fun to listen to. Easy to imagine a bunch of good friends jamming and singing these songs together all night long!

Bon d'accord, cet album est sympa, mais, quand même, pas comparable a du Belle and Sebastian ! La musique est un peu "brouillonne" et les voix râment un peu. Mais... il y a de l'idée, et sûrement qu'avec un peu plus de moyens techniques et quelques cours de chant...
