This starts with the contract in words. Tohu-Bohu nice and firm and very present in your consciousness, with a medium rhythm, which picks up into a veritable battle of swirling synthetic noises. Then another voice enters the forum. Quite harsh clauses to this KONTRAKT!-) Android's Dungeon Part1 is a cool track, complex minimalism, I love it! Propagation Universelle actually sounds like how it would be, that sought-for homogenous race of humans, quite organic. Gotsha R2 is a moment of madness. Snatch Clock FX has a gorgeous start, that starts to fade and is replaced by a skeleton of rhythm, slowly fleshed out with building sounds. Construction in a positive way. And a nice bit of bass synth 4 minutes in, that begins the leadout of the track, still full of optimism. Dr Kuang Expert Infiltration is a brilliant title and starts off right. Nice structure in evidence straightaway and maintained throughout. Zpaizznatchklok is a wonderful improvisation. Love that noise! Simple but effective. Shaked Box nice confident sound and structure all the way. Multidinous Seas Incarnadine, an ambitious experiment and I really liked the variation and repetitiveness. Minimalism can achieve some profound depths of expression by using fairly simple means. New Level immediately structured strongly, builds its melody through the rhythm of mere sounds, a song of optimism for the most part. Seeming to begin to fade as it progresses and develops, bringing back a reminder of its former self, without ending... Compu Fear, sinister, techno-punk filler, almost gothic. Scato Punk Rythmic Box was suitably scatty, drunk, punk, box of rhythm. In Extenso: seem a bit uncertain at first, but there is still a heartbeat in there somewhere and distorted voices and thoughts, at the extremities of communication. Thought the minimal backdrop made good by simple rhythms and sounds, mixed as the mood takes. About halfway through the tone changes slightly, another perspective of the same problem of transmission. Its allocative form leaving it wider for interpretation than some other musical mantras. Sounds of synthetic chanting to a god of metal perhaps? One that has no answer, at least one we can interpret. MTV & Microwaves sounds like an American way of life. This track really feels underground, underhand, understood. Almost mockingly sinister in its tone. Era seems to continue in some sense but have a different slant on things generally, its own subjectivity. The structure and tune begin to alter about 3 minutes in to include more voice overs. Then it almost raves! Good solid beat and sparse use of notage was noted and appreciated. Almost gothic/industrial to the end. Android's Dungeon Part2, again, like Part1 I loved the sound of this one, simple and to the point. Quite hard in places. Then, Animal Domestique... who's a good little puppy. The fun side of le tentacule mecanique? Structure and sound good, squeaky voice did spoil it a bit for me, to be honest. Sounded like Donald Duck on helium. The last track, sign the paper and shake on the deal.
