I was astonished after listening to this EP. Tremendous musical quality mixed with very inspirational lyrics. It Happens All The Time has all the cards to be a hit. Good rythm, powerful lyrics and a melody that gets stuck in your head. Tripping, the perfect title. All the song is a trip!! Thursday Morning Waking, a very touching song, I've read that it's a tribute to the victims of the London's tube terrorist strike. It sounds coming straight from the heart. And Tube Screamer, showing that they can also experiment and not only make pure rock and pop. I've added this group to my favourites. If there was a music stock market, I would put all my money on them right now. Once they get a little more known, this is going to be like Google. Bam!

D'emblée, on est pris par la voix du chanteur et l'aspect mélodieux de ce rock. Pas de critiques en Français, alors j'y vais! Cet album mérite vraiment d'être découvert et apprécié. Excellentes guitares, bon tempo: j'aime!! Ce rock a quelque chose de romantique tout en gardant une bonne intensité. Le 3ème morceau est superbe: chanteur remarquable!!!on est en pleine ballade romantique. Dernier morceau: guitare mélancolique somptueuse, chant à consonance blues: régal. A découvrir absolument!!

Vaya sorpresa que me llevo con estos muchachos... Mi canción favorita es Tripping, porque cuando la escuché me dieron ganas de salir a hacer locuras por ahí. Este disco suena un poco a Radiohead, a Jeff Buckley, Chris Cornell... En el aspecto vocal es muy parecido a Bono de U2. Me gustó el diseño de la portada, está bien escogida la imágen y concuerda con el contenido del disco. Lo único malo es que son sólo cuatro canciones. Pero anunciaron el LP para "pronto", ojalá que sea muy luegoi.

Wirklich eine gelungene EP! Sehr melodiöser Rock, super gespielt und gut produziert. Tripping ist wirklich ein klasse Song. Ich freue mich auf das Album!!!

Che sogno stupendo!!! Poche parole: l'ep in questione è eccezionale, sembra una serata di ricordi malinconici a metà strada tra le sonorità dei Manic Street Preachers (soprattutto la voce) e dei Soundtrack Of Our Lives (per le aperture seventies e graffianti) con in mezzo echi di progressive (poco) e space rock. Grandioso, non c'è che dire. Non so se siete italiani,ma se lo siete ancora più bravi, in quanto sembra una band estera in tutto e per tutto. Non oso pensare a quanto potrà essere spettacolare l'album completo!

im Sinne des Wortes.... Diese Musik geht über perfektes Handwerk weit hinaus. Bei der durchaus zeitgemäßen Musik von After The Ice wird das Beste aus vierzig Jahren Rockgeschichte hörbar. Beginnt die EP noch mit einer Uptempo-Nummer aus feinsten Ingredenzien von den Groundhogs über Krautrock bis zur Baker-Gurviz-Army und mehr (It Happens All The Time), kommt mit dem zweiten Titel (Tripping) schon ein Kracher, der Kollegen wie The Cult alt aussehen läßt. Spätestens beim dritten Song aber wird klar, dass Paul Lisak nicht nur ein fantastischer Gittarist ist, sondern auch ein außergewöhnlich begabter Sänger. Hier croont er sich durch einen echten Tear-Jerker (Thursday Morning Waking) wie es auch unsere Virtuosen Mika oder Sting nicht authentischer könnten. Variabel, tonsicher und emphatisch. Mein persönlicher Top-Titel, unprätentiös, ehrlich und bei aller Gefühlstiefe ohne unnötiges Pathos genau auf den Punkt. Mit dem vierten und (leider) letzten Stück (Tube Screamer (Endlich kommt mal der TS-808 zu Ehren)) zeigen ATI, dass sie auch noch ganz anders können, experimenteller nämlich, jazzy und ja, augenzwinkernd. Das Beste aber: All dies kommt absolut unangestrengt, ehrlich und locker daher. Ein Wort noch zur Artwork: Genial! Leute holt Euch diese EP und werdet süchtig. Falls es eine Gegenwelt zu DSDS gibt: Hier ist sie! And to you, Hamzah, Paul and Laurent, you may be sure that I'll stay tuned. Thanks for bringing your music to us. This is a solid EP, with good recording and great music. The music is a mix of several genres, but I would name it rock/indierock/alternative. As mentioned in another review, the lyrics are really good. I think Trippin is the best song on the album All in all, a really good EP, looking forward to the LP.
