My Proposal (Bride March Version)

This little piece of music is an instrumental version of a pop ballad I wrote and produced to propose marriage to my wife. I always wanted to see my bride pacing towards the altar accompanied by a piece of music I wrote for her. And believe me it was great: Successively three bridesmaids walked down the aisle (that's why the little trumped "tada"s were necessary as starting signals) and with a flourish (at 1 minute 14 seconds of the bridemarch) my bride appeared. Unfortunately I could not afford a complete symphony orchestra ;-) Everything you can hear is completely computer-made. But even if it sound's not 100 percent like a real orchestra it is quite close to it and worked really well at the ceremony.

Fantasy For Two

This little duet for cello and piano was played as part of our wedding ceremony. The version on Jamendo is completely computer-made. Of course the cello cannot compete with the beautifuil sound of a real cello played by a skilled cellist. I'd really like to offer you the live recording of the wedding ceremony performance. But unfortunately you cannot hear much of the cello part in it because we were not prepared to do a high quality recording.

I think the sound is is pretty good for a fully synthesized work. And anyway you can't get much more romantic than providing your very own wedding march so I think the audience would probably not notice the slight difference between synth and live instruments!

Let the drums tell it to the trumpets, let the trumpets tell it to the cannons, let the cannons tell it to the sky.

It is not easy to find a woman disposed to be married at somebody else's than Mendelsohnn's tumes but one that accepts to parade towards the altar in step with your own music, well..She is unique. The March don't fall in the Pump and Circumstance trap and slips away like fresh water. And this is a 'Una Tantum' piece of music; if ever it will be used again, it will be so because in Hollywood vaults the final track of John Williams's o.s,t. for "Star Wars", "Throne Room and Finale,"will be too much deteriorated and need a substitute on the movie master. But the second track, the duet for piano and cell is not, not at all. Each track is easily enjoyable until its final bar, more so for the moderation spirit in wich each one has been composed, without resorting to melodramatic devices.
