These songs compare favourably with any put out by the great English folk singers - Bert Jansch, Nick Drake, Robyn Hitchcock and Davey Graham. "I Love Leonard Cohen" and "The Winter Blues" are stand-outs. A definite must-listen artist.

Robin Grey has a meditative, quiet quality that I really enjoy. I’ve been listening to I Love Leonard Cohen and Only the Missile this week, and enjoying them both immensely. * “I Love Leonard Cohen” ponders changing shapes of individual tastes. He frames the song through the shifts in his listening habits, returning to the refrain: “My Weezer CDs, well they hardly get played/ My obsession with Ani DiFranco has ended/ My task is anything but certain these days/ I would probably tell you that I love Leonard Cohen.” * “The Last Time I Saw David” similarly seems to ponder the way one’s understanding of religion shifts as one ages. * The easygoing pace of the music is enjoyable, but not overwhelming. Good for sitting and listening. Not good for driving.

I did not expect that I would find the material better than the one that surprised me in the album "Only the missel" but still, this album offers me something totally different and yet fantastic. I love the color of your voice, how and using it in combination with the banjo, lyrics. Something incredible! Most of the time, speaks to me the song "Winter blues" - it can be hard to believe, but when I listen to this song outside the window, here we have a krakow -25 C. .. it's cold. Pigeons huddled on the windowsills, specially suitable blend into the words "hard, even the birds fly" ... Thanks for such good music, now hear the third album. While this may do it until tomorrow because I have a dream That Knocking at My Door:)

I love Leonard Cohen. We love Leonard Cohen. Life has no sense to it; or, I wonder is there, the alchemist, turning lead into gold. Beautiful stuff, hauntingly so, it touches me, both body and soul.
