Délicatesse & mélancolie

Une belle production, un fond sonore minimaliste - aux variations étonnantes - portée porte par une voie délicate au relents mélancoliques. Un délicieux album pour les jours de pluie qui oscile entre beauté et tristesse poétique.

such a beautiful voice she has. also the production on this release is spot on. might I hint to use harmonies in some of the vocals, I imagine them to sound great with this voice! great work. 10/10

The first track has an innate beauty that cannot help but become immersed in potent emotionalism. Almost brings a tear to the eye, it touches your soul profoundly. That's just one bit of magic captured in one track. Harvest cuts swathes through your being and collects all your heart into a state of empathy and awe in the presence of such a finely countenanced track, as they say very accessible because it taps directly into your frontal lobe and your emotionality. The music sets you up in a subliminal way, the lyrics and voice just put the icing on the delicious cake, that is Hungry Lucy. Gorge yourself on this delicate, gossamer paradisiacal musical creation and turn round and make the world a better place, just in one small way perhaps. But from the butterflies wings a great storm in evoked elsewhere in the world. Such is my theory on redressing the imbalance of the spirit of Gaia. This kind of music plays a part in that, figuratively and in reality too perhaps. Losing Faith is a sonorous play of the sadness of being in such a state, and I've been there many times and will probably still get that feeling again, are we not all human, all too human. Listen to Sue Stonebender, she has faith in grace. However, I see this lyrically focuses on the personal level. It is about relationships, sometimes all we have, something we sometimes don't have. I believe in soul-friends, not in the sense of a soul mate for life, but distinctly on a polygamous level. There are many good souls around, the trick is finding them. Alfred (haunted) again full of emotionality on a personal level. Storm (carried away) captures a very personal essence of my own current situation, what will become of the metaphorical brewing remains to be seen. Again, as with all the tracks, fine-balanced and haunting melodies. Storm carries more force for me because it is interpretable in different ways, despite the distinct stance the lyrics take. That just makes me like it all the more, after all, how fantastic is it to hear how you feel encapsulated so perfectly in such a wonderfully creative manner. Fearful, live and unplugged has an endearing beginning, how can it go wrong. And, it is the proof of the pudding. The passion and charm are bountiful enough to be carried off, off the cuff, on the spot. Fearful, a brilliant capturing of a very real and potentially harmful place to be in amongst. Job done well.
