I do not really get that. More than 15.000 times played within the first month, and there is nothing more than endless arpeggios and corny and unimaginative chords in this CD, as well as in any other CD by Costlow. How can someone playing so uninterestingly be so noted, while other pianists on this platform with greater creativity, such as Paolo Pavan or Fabrizio Paterlini, are comparatively ignored? What makes Costlow so special? I guess, more than 1800 downloads within the first month tell me that he must be good. Why else would so many people listen to it? So I download the CD, I see the light, claiming there is nothing better on earth, and I start to compare Costlow's music to legends like Jarrett or Chizhik to underline his exceptional talent. Well, the names of these great pianists have no business here. A simple listening into Jarrett's encore in 'La Scala' makes this clear. Costlow is lightyears away from that. If you long for breathtaking piano music - listen to Jarrett! If you want good music here on Jamendo, listen to the guys mentioned above. But you will not find it in Costlow's CDs.

What can I say about that... I think it's better if you listen yourselves..

Aż brak słów by wyrazić co czuję słuchając tego czy innych albumów tego wykonawcy. Zupełnie tak jakby znikał cały świat. Pozostaje tylko dźwięk i odczucie spokoju i wewnętrznej harmonii. Polecam każdemu kto w codziennej bieganinie szuka choć chwili spokoju.

Definitely a wonderful album... I enjoyed every song of it and if you just want to sit back and relax with an album playing in the background. This album is one of the best to be choosed.

Un succédané insipide de Wim Mertens (compositeur belge), ce dernier bouleversant de finesse et de sensibilité. Toute chose désespérément absentes de cette suite d'albums dont la platitude ennuie irrémédiablement. Si ce style de musique vous attire, je vous engage vivement à découvrir "A man of no fortune", "Jardins clos" ou "Struggle for Pleasure" du premier cité...

This must be the best Rob Costlow album so far. A great Pianist with a collection of great compositions, say no more, enjoy.
