His bright, clear voice and pleasant 12 string lifted up my spirits on a dark night. The lyrics opened a broad poetic sky, while still speaking to my soul, and helping me connect with humanity. I recommended the album to my brother when I was halfway through "I'll meet you in Ireland." The quality of lyrics, composition, and performance is consistent throughout the album. He is telling stories with such feeling that I am moved, while he still maintains excellence in performance. A slight pause, a change in intonation, a subtle difference in volume is all that he needs to focus the powerful emotions created by his lyrics and melodies. He ably intertwines Gaelic music, Alaska, love, life, and death within his folk sound, ably but reservedly inserting other instruments on top of his strong guitar playing. His choice of stories are engaging, become real in the telling, and will keep me coming back.

This is one of the very first albums I discovered on Jamendo, and one of those that are seldom made any more. Each song is a jewel of rare beauty, combining splendid melodies and a voice of crystalline perfection with lyrics that tell sensitive, nostalgic stories from the distant or more recent past, from the dreamlike world of maritime legends and fairy tales. Music like this has a timeless quality and defies labels and terminology. You just listen and let yourself get carried away. Words are too poor to describe its uniqueness; I gave it 5 stars only because there's technically no way to give more. Thank you for the precious gift of your talent and inspiration.

Dieses Album habe ich schon vor langer Zeit für mich entdeckt und auch heute zählt Krays Musik für mich zum Schönsten, was meine Ohren je gehört haben. Er hat eine wunderschöne, warme Stimme, in die man sich am liebsten hineinkuscheln möchte und seine Lieder erinnern mich immer wieder an die von John Denver. Darum: 10 Punkte für wunderschöne Momente voller Melancholie! P.S.: Hoffentlich gibt es bald mal wieder was Neues von dir zu hören, ich würde mich sehr, sehr darüber freuen!

Une superbe voix masculine chaude , un accompagnement à la guitare magistralement doigté et des textes agréables. Marvellous! On ne s'en lasse pas Ca fait du bien des singsongwriter sur jamendo. Ein sehr schönes Folk-Album. Vor allem die irisch-Folk-Einflüsse gefallen mir obwohl ich eigentlich nicht wirklich Fan dieser Richtung bin. Tolle Gitarre, toller Gesang. Klasse!

I'm not too much for folk, but this stuff isn't bad. I love the sound of the 12-String and the vocals are amazing. What a strong voice.
