Wonderfully powerful Intro piece, bad computer done good! Mental House, reminds me of home sometimes, with four children and all their friends it can get a bit hectic and I have my own experiences from both sides of the fence to fall back against. As a track I quite like it, there seems to be a certain unassuming essence to it that makes it endearing in itself, apart from the actual sound construction, which I happen to think is done well. Everything Is Wrong is a curious frame of mind to find yourself in, and an absolutely fantastic track. This EP is doing very well so far, to my mind and in fact the opposite of what it seems to purport to be. It captures artfully, as I said a strange state of being, and does it well enough to be appreciated by this particular listener. I have those kinds of days too. That it blends directly into Junkie, supports in some senses why those days arise, or why conversely it those days lead to that latter state of becoming/being a junkie. Experientially, I can see it from multiple perspectives and feel a sense of appreciation, though I don't care for the style of this track so much as the others, I like the perspective and fit. Finally, and this is the least of the worries and/or side-effects, Vomiting, something I hate having to go through. Musically, it captures an essence of nausea for me and brings back many memories. In fact, some pretty bad ones though I won't hold it against the music. Nice EP.
