I have never listened to an album by this artist before, but I was very impressed when I listened to this album!
The music is experimental electronic, but it has an organic feel to it. There is a steady beat, but it shifts and fades in and out-- like the sounds of nature. When I first heard this album, I thought that it sounded like I was listening to the sounds of the world as heard by a computer. I have never heard anything like this album before!
Overall, I was very impressed. The artist created electronic music with a very organic feel to it-- and that is certainly an accomplishment! The shifting and fading sounds were unpredictable, and unlike the predictable beat of pop music, I did not get bored after listening to this whole album two times! The organic feel that this music has is futuristic, and a huge leap forward for music! I can't wait to listen to the rest of your albums!
INsIDE : Idem.
QUEsTION : Cette pièce se distingue particulièrement.
Reading wait4the1's review I can see what they mean straight away. It is almost like a roughness, which might be due to a number of variables, if it's technical I'm lost but I like it and the first track is very open and as would be the case in reality, mostly organic, even if only man-made structures surround you there's still organicity.
The second track seems more introspective, again due to the sound, there is less 'background' noise and a sense of the possibility of a serenity not evident in the first, which captures the essence of a balanced inner equilibrium that may be party to so many delusions, I could go on forever!
Then due to this apparent instrospection there arises a Question, that is then a mixture of the first two tracks, i.e. some areas where there appears to be more organicity and some moments of inner balance. I see this tentative balance, as almost on a knife-edge, an assimilation of the two polarities. Kind of Yin and Yang.
The final track, after the positing of the question, assumes that it had reached a reasonable conclusion about this very assimilation of chaos, that bit of life we cannot control, but if we resist it the outside overcomes the inside. Hence, the usefulness of posing a question about the existence therein involved and, luckily in this instance, it seems a reasonable answer to whatever the 'problem' was. Again, musically it is in essence a slightly more perfect version of the question.
That all seems logical to me, and this being my first listen to this artist as well, I am singularly impressed by what has been achieved here. I am surprised and very pleased to have found such exquisite electronic music, successfully conveying a process in life with real spirit and deft ability.
