Just listening to the opening track I was captured from the powerful vocals and drums. It feels reminiscent of the 90s in a way, I cant think of the bands name, but this is of a high professional quality. Its very catchy and fresh, definatly shining through all extraordinarily bland and tiresome hip hop and rap (which is spelt with a silent C). Connor O'Brien, not to be confused with the comedian Conan O'Brien (who is just as great only in the field of comedy). Connor O'Brien has a very uplifting vibrant atmosphere in the songs, a rich full voice shimmering guitar really add up to make you feel great! In closing take a listen to this fantastic album, it will not disappoint!

Bon son pop/rock la musique est bonne la voix est bien posé la post production est soigné mais il manque un petit quelque chose pour que ça claque vraiment. Un je ne sais quoi difficile à définir mais ceci dit cet album reste très agréable à écouter.

Ouf, sans rien n'avoir d'exceptionel voici (enfin) un album qui relève le niveau de ce que l'on trouve désormais sur Jamendo. Pour peu qu'on aime la pop, cet album se laisse écouter. Mélodique, un peu électrique, on sent parfois la présence d'un "gros son" qui ne sort hélas jamais. Ca tire un peu sur la pop-rock FM, faudrait voir à se lâcher un peu plus... C'est dommage, parce qu'y'a un bon potentiel là-dedans, manifestement. Ca reste malgré tout un bon album: pas mieux, mais pas pire non plus. Je l'ajoute à ma playlist.

En écoutant cet album, je me suis demandé si ce n'était pas l'album d'un groupe professionnel et reconnu dans la monde musical. En tous les cas, d'après ce que j'ai entendu, cette "anonymat" devrait être éphémère. C'est un album somptueux, qui m'a bluffé par sa qualité et son émotion. Ces musiques douces, avec une "voix d'ange", belle et naturelle, et un piano doux et puissant, avec une âme réelle. Les musiques sont toutes plus belles les unes que les autres, et leur simplicité donne un effet de "fragilité", de calme et de bien-être ! C'est un album que j'ai adoré. Je suis très agréablement surpris ! Bravo !

Un album de grande qualité, mixage irréprochable pour un pop rock classique actuel, typé FM, pas forcément novateur, mais pas non plus ininteressant, un peu rabaché quand même. Vocalement, rien à redire, jolie voix à la fois puissante et nuancée, des lignes chant+choeurs parfaitement maitrisées. Les mélodies et choix d'arrangements sont tout de même assez formatés, un album qui pourrait très bien tourner en boucle sur RTL2. C'est le gros point négatif de cet album selon moi. Je suis moins fan des ballades qui justement n'apportent rien que ce que le pop rock nous a déjà servi (nothing at all). La lead guitar acoustic sur So far to go est vraiment bien fouttue (son+qualité du jeu). Les morceaux plus dynamiques et plus rock ont eux quelques aspects originaux (Make ends meet et son intro vraiment bien trouvée par exemple). En résumé cet album est très bon si la programmation des radios typées pop-rock vous plait. Mais un cruel manque d'originalité, on attend la petite touche de nouveauté qui va transcender le tout. Bonne continuation.

first, i should admit that i've not ever heard a so excellent quality in non commercial production (and i listen that kind of music since 10 years !)

This is incredibly high quality 90s pop rock. I'm surprised that it took me so long to find this. The vocals are fantastic and I love the exciting, feel-good music. The recording quality is excellent. Also, the cover art is very professional. The lyrics are decent. I love it when jamendo artists actually post their lyrics like Connor has. My favorite tracks are "Make Ends Meet" and "Blue Room". The license is a tad restrictive, cc by-nc-nd, but it is great to see such a seasoned, decorated artist using creative commons. The track "Bobby & Me" is perhaps a little cliché in both lyrics and sound, but it refreshing to hear that sort of thing in a free culture context, where little of the non-free culture cliché appears. The album had some faults, as mentioned, but it still deserves 4.5 stars for how high quality it is. I am thrilled to see this album hit free culture cannon.

Enfin un album qui rehausse le niveau sur Jamendo. Très bonne melodies, très belle voix, le tout servit par une réalisation impécable.

This is an amazing album, full of energy and passion. The sound is very clean and your voice is awesome, you are a great singer. I also like that each song is perfectly different from the others, having it's special thing that make it unique. You've managed to create an enjoyable and combined album, going from rock to piano. My favorite songs are Make Ends Meet (perfect intro song, by the way), Customize and Inside Out. I hope that you keep making this incredible music, good luck in everything you do!
