Jesien 2006. Przewlekly glód muzyki alternatywnej w Lublinie skupia nielicznych jej sympatyków na nieregularnych imprezach indie w jednym z tamtejszych klubów. W splywajacych potem roztanczonej mlodziezy podziemiach przypadkowo spotykaja sie muzycy zjednoczeni wspólna wizja rewolucji muzycznej, której wyrazem w niedlugim czasie staje sie Plug and Play. Grupa poczatkowo sklada sie z trzech osób: na wokalu i gitarze Kuba (odpowiedzialny równiez za kompozycje i teksty zespolu), na basie Wojtek, na perkusji Michal. Latem 2007 do rozwijajacej sie grupy dolacza Matz, przejmujac role basisty. Inicjalne zdezorientowanie lubelskiego audytorium przejawia sie w obecnosci na pierwszych koncertach dziewczyn ubranych w zwiewne sukienki oraz reklamowanie gigów przez Gazete Wyborcza jako koncertów muzyki indyjskiej, za co zespól do dzis dziekuje lokalnej prasie… Jednakze w niedlugim czasie zimnofalowa motoryka i postpunkowe melodie przebijaja sie przez skorupe standardowych rockowych inicjatyw, a surowe gitarowe granie zdobywa coraz wiecej zwolenników. Nagrywajac w Tekturze pierwsze demo, zespól ostatecznie wychodzi z garazu, zbierajac entuzjastyczne recenzje oraz propozycje koncertowe z calej Polski, konsekwentnie realizuje idee trwalego zaburzenia równowagi alternatywnej sceny muzycznej.
Fall 2006. Lingering hunger for alternative music in Lublin garners its few enthusiasts on irregular indie parties in one of the local clubs. Walls running down with sweat of dancing youth become the site of coincidental meeting of the musician united by a common vision of music revolution, which, shortly, Plug and Play becomes the epitome of. Primarily the band consists of three members – Kuba, vocals and guitars, also responsible for music and lyrics, Wojtek, the bass player and Michal, the drummer. In the summer of 2007 Matz joins the band, taking over from the bass player. The initial disorientation of the local audience is manifested by the fact that not once or twice girls in Indian clothes, wrapped in beads show up at their concerts, also their gigs are advertised as Indian music concerts, and for that the band is extremely grateful to the local press up until today…Nonetheless, before long, the cold wave dynamics and post-punk melodies pierce through the shell of other rock initiatives, and the austere guitar music gains more and more supporters. With the recording of their first demo, the band ultimately comes out of the garage, boosting enthusiastic reviews and concert proposals form all over Poland, continually fulfilling the idea of distorting the balance of alternative music scene for good.
