Das zweite Album von Starfirefive schlägt mehrheitlich ruhiger Töne an, als die beiden Nachfolger. Aber gerade zu Balladen wie im Track 1 passt die Stimme des Künstlers sehr gut, weil sie eine schöne melancholische Färbung hat. Der erste Song bekommt von mir die volle Punktzahl – auch wenn viele die Stimme etwas zu lallend finden werden. Ich mag sie! Der zweite Track fährt auf derselben Schien fort - „lyrischer“ Pop Was ich an allen Alben den Künstlers mag, dass ist, das er sich zwar sehr wohl bei bekannten Künstlern (stilistisch/inhaltlich) bedient – aber eben ohne wirklich zu klauen. Gerade denkt man – Moment, das kommt mir doch bekannt vor ..und schon bekommt es eine ganz eigene Wendung Auch die (Fast-)Instrumentaltracks (wie z. Track 3) gefallen mir Bei Track 6 und 7 ist die Stimme (teilweise) leider etwas dürftig Synth-Pop nach meinem Geschmack – der mit einer „vollkommeneren“ Stimme noch besser punkten würde. Aber ich finde, dass die Stimme sich auf den neueren Alben (3 und 4) durchaus weiterentwickelt hat

This album is rather raw material (with distinct references to Depeche Mode), but I wonder whether some more elaboration would actually do it any good. I like the sound of the voice, and the lyrics don't look so much like lies to me. In spite of the title, there is truth in these songs and the unmistakable indications of something really interesting, that only needs time to blossom and reveal its beauty.
