I love anything from Tunguska . . .which recommended this album to me. Electro-Nick has been on many of their albums. I love this guy's amazing work with the sounds he chooses, combined with outstanding respect toward the creation of beauty, fun and a lovely beat - which made me laugh with glee through each song. These are some old favorites of mine from Tunguska, and its wonderful that Electro-Nick pulled together an album of his own. Track one and five were my absolute favorites but I loved this whole package. That first track was such an adventure of sound it made me think of my hikes as I happen upon many adventures and the changing texture of life from one moment to the next. This track maintained a steady flow and emotion during all the shifts in the overriding blithesome melody. "One Flew Over the Cuckoo" was impossibly gorgeous with that popping beat that got me moving and at the same time listening intensely to the unique nuances, colors and flavors of the beautiful melody, while deciphering the instrumental voices which eventually took us out into space. At least that's where I ended. The "Local train to Istra" is a song that truly takes you on an amazing journey. It is one of those tunes which resides in your brain, like a powerful memory, singing through to your spirit with its great, glowing, flowing jazziness. I loved it, didn't want to leave. I sure hope that this artist comes out with more of his sparkling electronic music. I don't think I can get enough of this stuff.
