I have no idea what the lyrics are saying but the music is very nice.

C'est mon gros problème pour cet album:les paroles sont parfois (souvent?) un peu comment dire...stéréotypée,c'est difficile à expliquer,par exemple sur "Maux croisés",je trouve les paroles vraiment sans profondeur,sur ce même thème,j'aurais espéré des paroles peut être plus "mûre",y'a rien qui me touche ou qui me plait dans les paroles,et c'est souvent le cas. La voix est très répétitive et devient ennuyeuse au bout d'un certain temps:certes sur 1 ou 2 chansons,ca peut passer,mais sur 11 c'est schient. Par contre,les mélodies sont superbes,j'adore les mélodies,mélange d'éléctro/Trip-hop/Dark Ambient,la musique est excellente. Donc je telecharge ton album si tu le propose sans les paroles,juste la musique. Je sis sur que si tu ote les paroles,en laissant juste la musique,je met 5 étoiles,et il serait magnifique ton album,mais voilà,les paroles et la voix me gène beaucoup. Mais reconnaissant la musique d'une des chanson d'un groupe nommé "Silence" sur ton titre "La mare au diable",je me demande la cause de cette similitude,et m'intérroge donc aussi sur la provenance des autres mélodies.(Je ne fais que questionner,je n'emet aucune affirmation.) Donc 2,pour les mélodies et le respect de ton travail.

Je lis la description et y trouve un égo plein de lui même. Le style "gothique electro" me tente et essaye quand meme malgré la pochette dans la piscine qui me semble tres mal coller avec le style choisi. Le son est certes nickel, mais le tout respire la prétention et la suffisance, et ça parle d'un univers peut être déchiré oui, mais déchiré qu'il s'agit de regarder et d'admirer. Du moins telle est ma lecture et l'album aura eu le mérite de ne pas déclencher mon indifférence, mais mon rejet

Superbe album... Paroles plus que profondes... très gothiques, j'aime. Mélodies envoutantes et enivrantes... A découvrir! Zowette.

Eine wirklich zur Musik passende Stimme.. ein bisschen hat das ganze ein bisschen was von Army of Lovers - sehr interessantes Album, was man gerne hört - nicht immer - aber immer mal wieder. Sehr gut finde ich übrigens die Verwendung der Musik von "Silence" (http://www.jamendo.com/de/album/395/) bei "Le Mare au Diable" z.b. wird der Original-Track "Plume" eindeutig aufgewertet. Und es zeigt vor allem, dass Open Source Musik funktioniert!

I love the musicality of this, the evident time, care & passion put into the work, and the epic, moody, well-composed music. Like others who've reviewed this, I don't know a great deal of French, but unlike most here, I do have one bit of constructive criticism: The instrumentation throughout is quite polished- really good stuff, perfectly pret a porter. However the vocals just don't seem to fit... I'm not sure if the singer is also the composer, but speaking from a strictly 3rd party, musically objective standpoint, perhaps engaging a more experienced vocalist would do this body of work a great deal of good. If you got the right singer to truly compliment these songs, it would really help complete a picture which is allllmost there, but is still just a notch too rough to call Finished. No matter if the vocals were male or female, just a bit of polish in that arena would -really- make this album shine. (For example "Separation" & "L'ombre" are my two favorite pieces here. The music just sucks me in- but the vocals keep me from becoming completely enveloped in the truly -wonderful- music.) IMO, you've already got this amazingly well-put-together instrumentation; so why not make it a fete accompli? All these illustrative, emotionally-charged pieces need is a voice to enmesh into the picture you're painting.. the tapestry you've already woven w/the music... The lyrical melodies are already good- I may not be able to understand the words fluetnly, but I can make that out easily. :) All you need now is a voice (or even just a bit of added production..?) to add that last little bit of sparkle- to be that final little cherry on top. :) Keep it up, and never stop trying! ♥

Beautifully sensuous from the outset. I think, there is a fine sensibility in the use and delivery of the lyrics, though my French is not good. The musicality that it goes on to enmesh with is extremely nice in itself, as in I would quite happily listen to an instrumental version. That suggests that the semantics are embedded well. By the time I get to Sérail, I am becoming more assimilated with the group, so to speak. I spent my adolescence in such places of potential disgraces, I could write a book. A fine track indeed. A l'ombre de ton corps, makes me think about the issue of the body and how its perception does at times overawe the actual sense of self inside. I can live in my reflection, in fact I prefer the potential parallelism of such an existence. It worked well for me in the past, and I can see it as an ultimate future. But, then I am separating the essence of the triumvirate, and giving into a fate, that may now be too late. Either way, it is an excessive experience. Mon tombeau, anticipates well that sense of fatalism. If I had chosen that road, I would not be here now. Whether that is a 'good' thing or not is up for conjecture. I wonder myself sometimes. Causation is a queer thing. Like Savonarola, there is the 'red cap' to be worn perhaps and a necessary shortening of things. At the peak of such vicissitudes, Entre tes mains, has been applicable, but has never worked out for the best, though I have escaped by the skin of my teeth. So there is some good fortune in history. On the one hand, it was a sweet revenge. On the other, it was a mistake in a manner of control allocation. Both being significant changes in direction, and fate. All I fear, when I do, is that it is too late. A lovely resonant track. Je te vends mon âme, is just what I did and such a deep, backward internalisation, is hard to shift if you want to rebalance the scales of karma. The net caught me up, but I slipped through its denier. A deft move at the time, but then I got my foot caught in the ladder, in flagrante delicto. Electron Libre (Comme l'air) has even less tangibility than my true presence. Brief but nice. Maux croisés, living a black and white life, without recourse to the knife. Suppression and depression. There's the puzzle. La séparation (en duo avec Anjhya), brings to mind shattered fragments and grand schisms, assailing a life of confusion, and some blatant maltreatment. Though to be fair it seemed that that was the lot, and in order to cope there is an internal separation from reality. It is a regular coping strategy and works brilliantly, if you can handle to blood and gore of such a life. They say, what doesn't kill you, makes you stronger and I've lived longer as a result. Pollution sums it up for me so sweetly, reaching the point of personal asphyxiation, in the sense of my personal characteristics and moralistic meanderings. A brilliant album, I loved it.

Ecoutez les albums de "Silence" sur Jamendo : curieuse ressemblance non ? Certes il y a un voix en plus, et peut-être un travail artistique annexe... Mais la moindre des choses aurait été de spécifier le nom de l'auteur original. A jeter

Déjà la voix est agréable et ce n'est pas rien de chanter en français et de ne pas provoquer un rejet de ma part. Effectivement les paroles ne sont pas là pour dire quelque chose et au fond pour comprendre ce qu'il se dit il faut vraiment tendre l'oreille. Finalement l'absence totale de message aurait peut-être l'avantage que l'on tendrait plus à l'écoute de la musique parce qu'ici la voix me semble bien placée comme un instrument musical. L'utilisation des mots pourrait sortir du même tonneau: un travail sur le son. Le duo ne me semble pas au point sur le deuxième titre en tout cas j'accroche pas. Mais j'ai envie de dire qu'il y a une originalité interessante et si cet album n'est effectivement pas au point (peut-être effectivement faut-il revoir le texte: tant qu'a faire dire n'importe quoi autant y aller carrément! Peut-être en tirant plus vers un côté surréaliste type langage automatique). Enfin voilà tel quel ce n'est pas un album que j'écoutrais à nouveau et c'est dommage cette impression que quelque chose pourrait mieux se dégager de tout ça... Et puis tel quel, bin non.

Un univers...une très belle voix...une musique originale... Bref Ecchymoze est un véritable artiste... Un conseil...écoutez cet artiste.
