This album provides peace and joy to the listener. The first track recalls some of the traditional zen music and lead to meditation. Close your eyes. Maybe you'll see the Mt Fuji, maybe the peaceful landscapes as in the ancient ink paintings by China or Japan masters. I can see some of Hiroshige and Hokusai beautiful paintings. The combination of strings, delicate percussions, acoustic guitar and flute is marvelous. It is not only tradition it is modern too and we can also hear the influence of more modern rhythms when we're traveling on a cloud during the nearly 12 mn of the song. The second track is very meditative too but with some optimistic mood and rhythm. Very gentle and nice to hear. "Cadences" starts by delicate arpeggios - this acoustic guitar is very good - some traditional harmonies in the background and, fortunately, this magic flute comes again with this typical eastern feeling in the way the notes come to life. Little by little the rhythm becomes more intensive and the flute seems to dance to some devoted unknown god. The music becomes more progressive, still very deep and melodic. Thank you for giving such a gift. You're very talented. I'm going to recommend this album to my friends

Il flauto rievoca il Verbo Primordiale; le corde della chitarra, mosse dalle dita (e non dal plettro), vibrano dello stesso moto. Solo strumenti acustici, solo mano umana, soffio umano. In brani di questo genere, si cercano appigli quasi esoterici, mistici, che abbiano un legame profondo con l'ispirazione dell'artista. Se farete caso, nell'ascoltarlo troverete qualcosa, un ponte che mette questa musica in relazione alle musiche di paesi distanti tra loro migliaia di kilometri ma, paradossalmente, vicinissime per pensiero e contenuto. Tre piccole perle di meraviglia, di ispirazione profonda. Tre gioielli da condividere.

If you cannot be put at ease with these three very simple tunes, there is too much going on in your life. Track 1 offers simplistic meandering with flute and even rhythms from the guitar. Very easy to relax to without overthinking... Track 2 is an easily tranced tune. Repetitive, keeps the mind focused, slow and easy. Track 3 slips in and out of the waking states. Jumping the droning background up a bit with the percussive guitar playing and downbeat tempo of the drum. Worthy of any collection, especially those that just want background music to get them through their day, or afternoon - especially if raining.
