Long enough Aeon Sable have waited for the star to shine. The debut from the german duo is entitled "Per aspera ad astra" and delivers a very individual interpretation of Goth-Rock.

This album had a perfect sound quality that just seemed to stand out to me, as I sat and took this whole album on board. I loved the passion, the energy, the vibe, the atmosphere to this album in general. It made me take notices off it more and more, as I listened to each and every track played to perfection. The band was exceptional, in the way the played their music. They had vigor, talent and passion, let all determination to do it correctly and not in a hurry. all rolled into one.. The lyrics where fascinating and compelling and held my interested in each and every track heard. And made me think as well. I liked the vocals I heard all from the main lead singer a man.. which where strong, charismatic, and interesting to listen to as well. And the female lady I heard sing in one track. The sound affects fitted in perfectly as well, and timed to perfect and put in just the right stop. Very professional, clean, cinematic appeal about it all. I couldn't find no fault at all in anything. All I can say check this album out in pure darkness with the speakers turned up or with good headphones on.. and just get comfortable, sit back and savour this cracker of an album out. The stories they tell, are brilliant and they are great at keeping you interested as they tell their tales of life and love etc.. A great combination of rock, indie, with touches of gothic rock as well. An exceptional alternative album a must check out and get into and enjoy. Just like I did.. As I listend I felt very relaxed, calm and in a great state of mind, just lapping this whole album up. at times the odd bit of lyric made me smile, think and wonder.. That is the great art of story telling, which gets your listener involved not in just the music, but the lyrics and the guys voice. and of course the music. Everything basically and this did just all that to me..
