WAHOOWAH !
Same instruments like in ohter albums, but... less experimental...
More accessible and... what a result !
Finale is my prefered, then Minimal, Arpeggio, and Jazz Quartet, but all th four are good, as usual ;P !!
I'm so glad having discovered your music, that I'm impatient to heard new tracks !
Congratulations !
ciao
Minimal is exactly what it is, simple, straight forward and strong, especially toward the end of the track. Arpeggio, I suppose comparatively, does achieve its technical aspect. Again, the track blossoms as it develops. Jazz Quartet, is quite a quirky little number which I couldn't resist liking. Finale was a celebration of noise for sure. Nice suite!-)
so glad having discovered your music, that like your friend's krakus I'm going to keep an eye for new releases
Congratulations !
First of all, you start again with a piece who doesn't give desire of going further, why this autistic minimalism at the beginning of the disc? To push back people like me :-) Better to introduce slowly to your work, i think. I recognize that there are the fundamental elements of an emaciated music of any ornament, like a skeleton, but the result doesn't hang to me absolutely. The sound of vault (arca sonora), agreement but at which price? It is obviously very much intellectual and sectarian to place this music in first position. However, i like the second piece, arpeggio! The two ranges are pleasant. The jazz quartet interests me less. This “final” is not so badly and recalls me Mike oldfield.
Always this diagram of a minimal circuit, with the image of your sonorities it's an obviousness. It's all the same, a little difficult for me to imagine that this music can clarify the things, or to give the essential elements to a precise style in a form of lesson of music. But i persist in believing that you will deliver soon a disc more packed and accessible. Despite everything, thank you to think of our place and for the work and sweat that represents.

An album of minimalist music that fills the silence of light, harmony, tenderness and melancholy going straight to the heart.
It definitely sounds better than your first album (in my opinion), but that's the problem with experimental music: you cannot predict if it's good or bad. Your first album sounded strange ... too strange for my ears, although I was prepared when I tried to analyze it. You definitely chose a style which caused more controverse discussions than any other genre. People either love it or hate it, and even this varies from track to track.
But all in all, this album was ok, maybe because it wasn't THAT experimental like your first ;-). Your first album reminded me about my time in school when I had to talk about the era of Surrealism and Dadaism (I like the artwork of that time, but the music ... well, it's not my style). This album sounds more like Mike Oldfield, but that's fine with me.
Cheers
