Voilà un album que l'on va mettre dans la case "rock progressif" mais qui fait preuve d'originalité dans son genre: l'association des sonorités de musiques traditionnelles et des synthés et guitare électriques est puissant! c'est fait intelligemment, avec art et inspiration. Celà donne une musique bien riche, pleine de rebondissements inattendus, avec bien sûr des sons de guitare ou de synthés typiques des bonnes années 70 du rock prog! pas grand chose à jeter (rien même!, sinon qu'à écouter et réécouter pour apprécier de plus en plus. Bravo les musiciens, vous devez épater en scène si vous en faites.

It's very difficult to modernise folk, few succeed, this album is one of the few. The opening two tracks.....well... I could go on about how well they are played, the harmonies and melodies but I really only need one word....Fun. From there on a less frivolous set of tunes, but never po-faced or finger-in-the-ear-folk serious. "Peacocks fancy" is a folk tune to head-bang to. He has mastered the most difficult part of this genre. The Bass Guitar. Celtic/Cumbrian/Northumbrian folk doesn't have any and when most musicians add it, it ruins the flow, lilt and skip that this type of folk has. !!! In this album the Bass Guitar adds !!! As a bass player myself, I applaud and bow. Bravo.

Amazing piece of music, that really did make me feel, alive and kicking and in a heavenly bliss just checking out this track. Broken Legged Chicken.. I could hear and feel for him with his limp as he walked and strutted his stuff and then his confidence built and he grew stronger and stronger and he was the proudest biggest chicken in the farm yard.. And didn't let his broken leg stop him.. Nice touch with the bagpipes and the electric riffs of the guitar..hells bells wish I could see and hear you live.. This tracks ROCKS and explodes inside you. Lovely blend of tracks as each and every track played to perfection. Beautiful ballads with arousing, stimulating music, that made you feel proud, and great inside and out. And stimulated your taste buds a treat. Great atmospheres that where warm, comforting and cozy. And very entertaining to boot.Love the way, it involved the listener. and had a good sense of fun with the farting noise you heard in Fellon Lonnen. I be here all day. Telling you how great this album is.. A must check out and download and I can promise you what a cracker this is.. Exceptional guitar work and wonderful creativity in general and every thing is top class quality and I bet they are outstanding to see in general live.. ps love the album cover. really express you to the max, colourful, vibrant and loud, let alone passionate and awesome..
